The small town of Kanjuku, a twenty minute drive from Thika in the Central Province of Kenya, is our initial site of support, focusing on five rural primary schools with a total student population of approximately 1,700. There are currently no libraries or access to supplemental reading. You can help us challenge and inspire these young minds.

Here are the first 5 schools we are assisting:

  • Kanjuku Primary school has 456 students
  • Ndekei Primary has 384 students
  • Kieni Primary has 320 students
  • South Kanyoni Primary has 320 students
  • Mbici Primary has 286 students.

All of the schools are in desperate need of renovation, none of them have libraries or access to supplemental reading for the students. We intend to build two libraries and purchase the books for each of the five schools.
