May 27th we delivered our first batch of books to Kieni Primary School.
Our volunteers who delivered the books were overwhelmed by the jubilant
reception they received. The children sang songs and danced and the
parents and teachers all expressed their sincere appreciation for the
books we provided. Like our first batch of books, the donation included
national exam study guides that will improve the chances a student will
attend Secondary School. We hope to receive and share the photos of the
book presentation with you soon.

Changing lives for $3.54! That was the average price of the books we purchased through your support. John, our Kenyan board member, visited Kenya (at his own expense) in October 2010 and was able to take the funds that we raised this fall and purchase books for our first book donation to Kanjuku Primary School.
